The NBA Shankster Rankings [1-30]

 The first installment of the official NBA Shankster Rankings. Enjoy.

 

1. Los Angeles Lakers -Won their first five games by an average of 22 points.

2. Atlanta Hawks - Gotta put them up here because they are only other undefeated team.

3. Boston Celtics - Looks like their loss to Indiana was a fluke.

4. Cleveland - Heating up after a 1-2 start.

5. Utah - Winning without D-Will is good.

6. New Orleans - Impressive 20-10 streak for CP3.

7. Phoenix - Look stronger than expected so far under Porter.

8. Detroit - 0-2 since bringing in AI.

9. Toronto - Bosh is realizing he still has to be the man even with Jermaine there.

10. Houston - Blowout loss to Lakers proves they aren't quite there.

11. Orlando - Looking like a playoff team.

12. New York - Is this team really 4-2?  

13. Denver - Already looking more like a team with the addition of Billups.

14. Miami - Looks like a rollercoaster year.

15. Portland - Speaking of rollercoasters.

16. Chicago - Trying to find an identity.

17. Dallas - Same team + one year.

18. Memphis - Playing hard and its keeping them in games...Mayo looks legit.

19. Milwaukee - See Chicago.

20. San Antonio - Last place in the Southwest Division.

21. Indiana - Young but showing signs.

22. Philadelphia - Is this even a playoff team?

23. Sacramento - Solid young talent.

24. New Jersey - They need Devin Harris.

25. Charlotte - Perpetual mediocrity.

26. Golden State - Could possibly put it together.

27. Oklahoma City - Playing hard but can't closeout games.

28. Los Angeles Clippers - Not shaping up to be a good year.

29. Minnesota - Some tough losses but just not there yet.

30. Washington - Here because they're winless.
