The Second NBA Shankster Rankings [1-30]

Enjoy the second installment of the official NBA Shankster Rankings. Comments welcome, let me know where I am wrong!

1. Los Angeles Lakers - Pistons opened the door for doubters but they are still at the top.

2. Boston - Not quite as focused as last year when it took them 13 games to lose their second game.

3. Cleveland - Hottest team in the league right now. Are they showing what they can do or peaking too early?

4. Phoenix - Shaq's on a minutes roller coaster and it looks like it's working.

5. Detroit - Maybe the Iverson trade wasn't a wash.

6. Orlando - Howard continues to impress as the Magic are finding their rhythm.

7. Portland - Oden is back and spending some time on the floor!

8. New Orleans - Still have Chris Paul, I think they'll figure it out.

9. Houston - Will all their players ever be at 100% at the same time?

10. Denver - Bringing in Chauncey makes them a contender.

11. San Antonio - They still have Tim Duncan and Popovich.

12. Toronto - Is Jermaine coming alive?

13. Utah - Aren't as good as last year yet.

14. Miami - Have a hunch that this team will pull it all together.

15. Atlanta - Perhaps a year of streaks.

16. New York - D'Antoni + Walsh equals magic apparently.

17. Chicago - Rose is the real deal.

18. Philadelphia - A lot of preseason hype but can they walk the walk?

19. Milwaukee - Who knows where they're headed?

20. Golden State - Team with a different leading scorer every night...is that good thing or a bad thing?

21. New Jersey - They can play with anyone when Harris is on.

22. Indiana - Missing Danny Granger, looks like another .500 season.

23. Sacramento - Better or worse without Artest?

24. Memphis - Lost four straight.

25. Dallas - 0-4 at home.

26. Charlotte - Not even a great young nucleus to dote on.

27. Washington - Didn't think they would be this bad.

28. Los Angeles Clippers - Missing Elton way more than they are enjoying Baron.

29. Oklahoma City - Ahead of Minnesota only because they beat them head to head.

30. Minnesota - Lost eight straight since their 1-0 start.
