The NFL Shankster Rankings [1-32]

The first ever NFL Shankster Rankings. Comments welcome, where did I mess up?

1. NY Giants - Clearly prepared to defend their title the Giants are playing to win.

2. Carolina - Did anyone predict they would be here now?

3. Tennessee - I refuse to believe they are for real.

4. Arizona - The playoffs are coming! The playoffs are coming!

5. NY Jets - Is this team really a serious contender?

6. Pittsburgh - Can't beat the Mannings but still a strong team built on rushing and defense.

7. Indianapolis - If they make the playoffs no one will want to play them.

8. Tampa Bay - Still can't take them seriously.

9. Atlanta - Hope in Atlanta.

10. New England - Always a threat to make noise and crush dreams.

11. Miami - What a turnaround from a year ago, adding to Parcell's resume.

12. Dallas - Cannot find any consistency.

13. Washington - If they make the playoffs they could have the recipe for success in January.

14. Baltimore - I think they're one year away, the offense i just too young.

15. Denver - See Dallas.

16. Philadelphia - Yes the NFL has ties. No you can't wear them around your neck.

17. Cleveland - Going places with Quinn at QB.

18. Buffalo - 1-5 since 4-0 start.

19. New Orleans - This is terrible but, see Denver.

20. San Diego - Would any fan of the Bolts/Super Chargers have believed they would be 4-6?

21. San Francisco - Singletary will last ___________. (Fill in the blank)

22. Jacksonville - From preseason favorites to missing the playoffs?

23. Houston - Getting better and worse than last year, if that's possible.

24. St. Louis - This team is missing Stephen Jackson...and a few other things.

25. Oakland - I would not want to be an Raiders fan right now.

26. Seattle - Everyone's saying it...Seattle sports at an all time low?

27. Cincinnati - What an ugly game against the Eagles.

28. Kansas City - Any guesses where this team is headed?

29. Green Bay - NFC North Leader.

30. Chicago - NFC North Leader.

31. Minnesota - NFC North Leader, almost.

32. Detroit - Remembering Barry Sanders highlights and sleeping well.
