You'll pardon me if I don't get a lot of fuzzy feelings after the Pacers win over the Lakers last night. The Pacers have done this for years, mostly because nobody doubts that they have talent on their team. When O'Neal and Tinsley were on the team, they were good for about 35 points, 10 assists and 15 boards just between the two of them when they were playing well. The key part of that phrase is "when they were playing well". I don't really think that it has been an issue of talent, though I will concede that the Lakers have far more of it. What I think has been lacking over the past four to five years is a team chemistry, desire, and good coaching. We seem to be developing the first two but I'm not convinced the third is there. Time will tell.
